Welcome to Sent From The PastSent From The Past is a company that seeks to open, establish,
and expand a new avenue for human communication. While technology has continued to develop at an incredible pace and
the barriers for communication have virtually dissolved, many people are not using the new forms of connection for any sort
of deep communication.
While we are able to transmit messages across the globe in a matter of milliseconds, this
has not prompted a sudden resurgence in thoughtful expression or complex discussion. Instead, we send brief, surface emails
to one another or else we send groups of people the same email. Sent From The Past has initiated something that the
new technologies have not yet been able to achieve: communication with the future.
Perhaps this is because most
of the short messages we all write wouldn't be worth reading in five years. Sent from The Past recognizes that the
form of the letter, the process of mailing and receiving mail in a mailbox is a unique form of communication that is suited
to a certain type of self-expression.
